ADAA MOURNS THE LOSS OF JERILYN ROSS

Jerilyn Ross, cofounder, president and CEO of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, died January 7, after a courageous battle with neuroendocrine cancer.

Jerilyn dedicated herself to advancing the mission of ADAA. She was a tireless advocate and a voice for all those who provide treatment, conduct research, and live with an anxiety disorder. Her message spread around the world: Anxiety disorders are real, serious, and treatable.

Jerilyn was a remarkable spokesperson for anxiety disorders and mental health, and she will be missed.

The funeral was held on Monday, January 11 at Washington Hebrew Congregation in Washington, D.C. Notes of condolence can be sent to her husband Ron Cohen at 9207 Inglewood Drive, Potomac, MD 20854-4621.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in Jerilyn's memory be made to ADAA, 8730 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20910.
